Equipment Basics
The right hockey equipment is
essential to safety and to enjoy the hockey
experience fully! All equipment
should fit properly to protect a player's
safety and to be comfortable.
The most common "misfits" for new players
are helmets and skates that are too big or
too small and sticks that are
too long or too short. Another
common "misfit" is dull skates.
For a first time player, these misfits can
make the experience difficult and can
take some or a lot of the fun out of it.
We encourage you to take the
time to ensure that your daughter's
experience is the best it can be with the
right equipment.
If you would like further details on
equipment, stick length, sharpening etc

"Equipment Tips for First Time Players and
Their Parents".
